What is OWNZONES?

OWNZONES gives you access to a variety of print, audio and video content and lets you create your own personal collection. Organized into channels relating to popular subjects like travel, entertainment and business, OWNZONES is your one place on the web where you are free to access all the content you love without the limitations of packaged deals or the distraction of advertising. 

 
Is it safe to use OWNZONES?

Absolutely! At OWNZONES we know that the safety of your personal information is extremely important to you. It's important to us, too. For this reason, we employ the highest level of security measures streamlined to protect your personal data and credit card information. 

 
Is it free to use OWNZONES?

It costs nothing to sign up for OWNZONES and explore all of our channels. However, to take advantage of the full experience, we do ask for a credit card when you subscribe to a Channel or Bundle. You only have to enter your credit card information once. Know that your data is safe with us and there is no pressure to purchase. At OWNZONES, you are free to choose. 

 
How do I contact OWNZONES?

Got questions? We've got answers. Whatever your question or issue may be, the preferred way to reach us is to use our contact form located in the Contact Us section on the homepage. It's quick, it's easy and we pride ourselves in prompt replies. That said, don't forget to check the FAQs in case your question already has an answer waiting. And of course you can always call us direct at 855-GO-OWNZONES.  

 
How do I sign up for OWNZONES?

That's easy. On any page select Sign Up Now in the top menu bar. You will be guided through a quick registration process where you'll set up your user name and password. You’ll then receive an email with a link to confirm your email address. You must confirm your email address within 72 hours and before you subscribe to any channel.  

 
How do I explore the site? (What do all these icons mean?)

At OWNZONES, we've worked hard to make finding what you love as quick and easy as possible. When browsing, start on the homepage where you can sample some of our best content for free. Explore the Channel Guide, accessible in the top menu bar. Each topic, when selected, will lead you to Channels relating to that topic. Looking for something in particular? Use the search bar located in the top menu on the homepage.

Confused by all the icons? A key icon means that the content you see requires a subscription. If you’d like to view it, simply go to that channel and subscribe. When you subscribe to a channel, all of it’s content is marked with an electric raspberry triangle in the upper right corner so you know you can view it. 

 
How do I discover more about a Channel and/or Product?

Found something you like, but want to know more before you make it your own? No problem. Simply click on the Go to Channel link to get a description of the channel and even some free content to sample. From there you can subscribe to the channel. The choice is yours. 

 
Can OWNZONES expedite my Chromecast device?

We are overjoyed with the success of our Chromecast promotional offer! Unfortunately, our team can not expedite any Chromecast devices at this time. Our team is working diligently to ensure that all of the devices are sent in a timely manner. Upon shipment, a courtesy e-mail will be sent containing your tracking information which allows you to have updated information while your shipment is in progress.  

 
When will my Chromecast be shipped?

OWNZONES is working hard to ship your Chromecast devices in a timely manner. As a friendly reminder, the OWNZONES "Terms of Service" allows up to 45 days to ship your device. Upon shipment, a courtesy e-mail will be sent containing your tracking information which allows you to have updated information while your shipment is in progress. 

 
Can I watch OWNZONES without my Chromecast?

OWNZONES content is available on any major platform; PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone. The Chromecast device simply enhances your experience enabling content to be viewed through your TV.  

 
How do I change my email address (username)?

Simple. Start by logging in to your account using your current user name/password. Then select My Account from the drop-down menu in the upper left corner of the top menu bar. From there choose Profile which will bring you to the Personal Information screen. Here you can enter a different email address. Please note that changing your user name requires verification by email. That means we will email you at the new user name email address and ask that you confirm the change. We do this for your own protection (and ours). 

 
How do I change my password?

If you would like to change your password, start by logging in to your account using your current user name/password. Then select My Account from the drop-down menu in the upper left corner of the top menu bar. From there choose Profile which will bring you to the Personal Information page. Here you can change your password. Please note that to change your password, you will first need to enter your current password. If you have forgotten your current password, simply follow the prompts and we will send you a replacement password.  

 
I am having problems logging in.

Having login issues? Not to worry. Check first to make sure you have entered your current user name and password. Next, make sure you don't have caps lock selected on your keyboard. Still experiencing an issue? Reach out to us support@ownzones.com. We'll do our best to get you logged in as quickly as possible. 

 
How do I access Channels and/or Products?

Ready to add to your collection? Great! Go to any channel and select the “Get 14-Day Free Trial” button. You’ll be guided through the simple subscription process. To enjoy it now (or later), select My Zone in the top menu. In My Zone you'll find a feed with content from all the Channels in your collection. You can also access your collection in the Channel Guide in the top menu bar by selecting “My Channels”.  

 
Where do I access my Channels and/or Products?

Ready to view your collection? Great! Start by logging in to your account. Already logged in? Even better. Simply select My Zone from the top menu and you will be taken to a feed of all your Channels. From here, you can access the latest content from all of channels to which you subscribe. 

 
How can I tell if I already have a subscription to a Channel?

Questioning whether something you've found is already in your collection? We got it covered. Take a look in the upper right hand corner of the content item in the feed. If the corner is colored electric raspberry, relax, you've got this. If the corner isn't shaded electric raspberry, this is unchartered territory for you - feel free to explore and access. 

 
How do I cancel a subscription to a Channel or Bundle?

Had a change of heart? No problem. To cancel your subscription to any Channel, start by logging in to your account and selecting My Account. From there you will select My Purchases which will bring you to a list of all your current Channels. Simply uncheck the box in the “Subscribe” column. Do this for any Channel you are no longer interested in and your subscription will be cancelled. You can always resubscribe by checking the box again. For billing questions related to canceled Channels, please refer to the Own FAQs on this subject.  

 
How do I add content to Favorites?

Access what you like. Heart what you love. That's what we had in mind when we created the favorites section. Simply select the heart icon on content that matters most. We play along and keep the best of your bests gathered in the favorites section — for when your mood strikes. Not sure where the favorites section is? Select Favorites in the top menu and you'll be taken right to it. 

 
How do I remove content from Favorites?

Had a change of heart? No problem. To remove content from your favorites, simply select Favorites in the top menu, then select the heart icon on the content item you wish to remove. 

 
What's the deal with free trials?

More than just a preview, free trials are our version of a test drive which means you get to take the full content out for a spin and experience it for yourself first hand. Like what you see, hear and/or read? Great. After the trial, monthly subscription will kick in so you can continue enjoying without interruption. And if it doesn’t suit your fancy – no problem. You can cancel the trial at any time. At OWNZONES, the choice is always yours. 

 
Is it safe to use my credit card on your site?

Absolutely! At OWNZONES, we know that the safety of your personal information is extremely important to you. It's important to us, too. For this reason, we employ the highest level of security measures streamlined to protect your personal data and credit card information. 

 
What forms of payment do you accept?

At OWNZONES, we accept all forms of credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover. 

 
How do I update or change my credit card?

Simple. Log in to your account. Then select My Account from the drop-down menu in the upper left corner of the top menu bar. . From there select Billing. Here you will be able to change or update your credit card information. When you're ready, select save to save any changes you've made. 

 
How do I update or change my billing address?

Simple. Log in to your account. Then select My Account from the drop-down menu in the upper left corner of the top menu bar. . From there select Billing. Here you will be able to update your billing address. When you’re ready, select save to save any changes you’ve made. 

 
Why was my credit card declined?

There are several possible reasons why your card would be declined. The most obvious reason is incorrect billing information. To verify your card details, log in and select Billing Info in My Account. If that does not solve the problem– take a moment to contact your card issuer. If you are still experiencing an issue after contacting your card issuer – we recommend using a different credit card. Please know that without a valid credit card, access to your account is at risk of being limited and/or cancelled. 

 
Some or all of my collection is at risk of being cancelled – Why?

At OWNZONES, a valid credit card is required to maintain full account access. Due to failed payment attempts, access to some or all of your collection is now at risk of being cancelled. Immediately at risk is monthly recurring access to your Channel(s). And while you would be able to maintain any annual access you have (until the renewal date), your ability to add new Channels and/or Products to your account would be suspended.

To avoid any interruption in service, please take a moment to log in and update your Billing Info in My Account. 

 
Access to my collection has been limited and/or cancelled. Now What?

At OWNZONES, a valid credit card is required to maintain full account access. Due to failed payment attempts, access to some or all of your collection has been limited and/or cancelled. Any annual access you have will remain (until the renewal date), but monthly recurring access to your Channel(s) will be/has been cancelled. Additionally, your ability to add new Channels and/or Products to your account has been suspended.

To avoid further interruption of service, log in and update your Billing Info in My Account. Once your Billing Info has been successfully updated, you can reactivate your cancelled Channel(s) in My Collection and resume full service. 

 
Where can I get a copy of my Statement(s)?

At OWNZONES we keep you up to date on what you've accessed with a monthly statement that reflects your recurring charges, as well as individual statements each time you add Channels/Products to your collection. Both your monthly statements and your individual statements will be emailed to you. However, you can also access these statements online. Simply log in to your account and select My Account from the top menu. From there select Billing and then Billing History. In the Billing History screen you will see a list of each of your purchases along with a corresponding statement reflecting your paid balance. To download a PDF of any statement, simply select it from this list.  

 
How often am I billed?

At OWNZONES we work hard to make your experience easy. That goes for billing as well. Your OWNZONES billing cycle begins each month on the anniversary of your sign up date. Each time you subscribe to a new Channel, you will be charged the initial month's subscription fee or a prorated amount - depending on when in your billing cycle you ordered. With Channel subscriptions, you can expect to continue being billed the monthly recurring fee for the Channel until or unless you choose to unsubscribe. If you purchase a Product, you only pay the one-time fee associated with the Product. 

 
What if I change my mind about a Channel and/or Product - do you offer refunds?

Alas, we do not offer refunds. But we do share detailed descriptions and sneak peeks to help take the guess work out of the equation. With OWNZONES, you can expect to know what you're accessing before you commit.

Of course, if you've had a change of heart about a particular Channel(s), you are free to unsubscribe at any time and avoid recurring fees. Simply log in and select My Account. From there you will select My Purchases which will bring you to a list of all your current Channels. Simply uncheck the box in the “Subscribe” column. Do this for any Channel you are no longer interested in and your subscription will be cancelled. You can always resubscribe by checking the box again. 

 
What will appear on my credit card statement?

At OWNZONES, we routinely employ the power of one. This goes for your credit card billing as well. All subscription fees from your OWNZONES collection will be billed by us - OWNZONES Media Network, Inc.

I don't want to receive OWNZONES Updates - how do I opt out?

Feeling overwhelmed by email? Not to worry. If you would like to discontinue receiving email updates from OWNZONES, just log in to your account and select My Account from the top menu. From here select My Purchases which will take you to a screen that provides access to your Channels and your Products. To discontinue receiving Updates, simply de-select the check box next to each title for which you no longer wish to receive updates in the Email column. Follow the same process for Products. 

 
I want to receive OWNZONES Updates - how do I opt in?

Want to keep up to date on the content you love? Great! If you would like to receive email updates from OWNZONES, just log in to your account and select My Account from the top menu. From here select My Purchases which will take you to a screen that provides access to your Channels and your Products. To get Updates, simply select the check box next to each title for which you wish to receive updates in the Email column. Follow the same process for Products.
